Today, it operates two multi-service licensed child development centers in Richmond. Every donation helps FRIENDS offer exceptional care and education in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our members include local, state, and federal government professionals in Richmond and the Central Virginia area (fromPetersburg to Charlottesville). Over 70 are Directors, Managers, or Chiefs of governmentalDepartments.The Commonwealth of Virginia employs two-thirds of our members (that&rsquo;s over 200). ManyVirginia Agencies and Departments are undergoing significant change management and implementingsystems and process changes to their operations as the Commonwealth moves to substantiallyupgrade its technology to better serve its citizens. Such changes are also occurring at the Federal andlocal levels of government. Through us, your potential to become familiar with these entities issignificant. Over 45 of our members are involved in major systems analyses, improvement, andoperations.As our primary focus, we provide training in a variety of managerial issues, such as systems changeand internal controls, information technology, advanced auditing techniques, human resources, andleadership. Our networking events, professional certification, publications, and ongoing education helpmembers build their skills and advance their careers.Partnership:The Greater Richmond Chapter would like to partner with you to enhance your marketing program whilehelping to support our activities. We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities and are very excitedabout working with your organization.
