Each year, the Akron Chapter, with its Derbytown Chorus and Akron Harmony Project, celebrates and honors our veterans with a special Veterans Day Benefit Concert. This concert and 100% of the funds donated will go to the Summit County Veterans Donation Fund. &nbsp;The Veterans Donation Fund is for those veterans within the County who, for whatever reason, are currently unable to receive VA Benefits. This fund is used to assist veterans in need with the resources they need to access these services.&nbsp; We are pleased to thank Community Vineyard Church and Pastors John Hovan and Tom Bloom, and their entire staff, for hosting the concert and providing the refreshments for our reception.

Individual VIP Sponsorship Program

Join us for the Akron Chapter BHS 77th Annual Show 🎶 &mdash; an evening of close harmony, ringing chords, and community. This is where voices from across our chapter come together to share the art of barbershop singing. This year, we are leaving the pirates behind and taking you on a wild ride with our theme of &quot;Doo Wop Dude Ranch&quot;. We know you will love hearing both of the choruses perform -- The Akron Derbytown Chorus (men&#39;s barbershop chorus) and our new Akron Harmony Project (mixed voice barbershop chorus) during the show.&nbsp;Our 2 featured quartets this year are sure to make you laugh and bring a smile to your face! &nbsp;We have, hailing from right here in Ohio, - The Hot Air Buffoons! Joining us from California will be The Newfangled Four! Both of these quartets can be found on YouTube, and we just KNOW you will love hearing them.&nbsp;&nbsp;All seats are reserved for both shows, and on Saturday night, you can join us for our after-the-show, dinner and more entertainment. We call this an &quot;Afterglow&quot; and it is a separate ticketed item. 🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Akron Chapter BHS&#39;s Annual Corn Roast. It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 There will be food, fun and MUSIC! All in attendance have the opportunity to participate in the mass sing, and any quartet or chorus in attendance is welcome to perform. We also have a 50/50 Raffle during the evening.&nbsp; Note the new date and location for this year&#39;s event! We hope to see you there!
