Alliance for Astronomy dba Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri

The Alliance for Astronomy, also known as the Astronomical Society of Eastern Missouri, promotes astronomy through education, outreach, and community engagement, fostering a love for the cosmos and enhancing public understanding of astronomical sciences.

Welcome to our 76th annual meeting of the Mid-States Region of the Astronomical League (MSRAL). 2006 will feature a Friday Night STAR-B-QUE at Broemmelsiek Park (main entrance - 1795 Hwy DD, Defiance, MO) followed by telescope observing (if weather allows) at the park's north side (1593 Schwede Road Wentzville MO, the intersection of Wilson and Schwede Roads). The meeting and lectures on Saturday will be at St Charles Community College (4601 Mid-Rivers Mall Dr., Cottleville MO Conoyer Hall - 12 CH ) and the Sunday morning meetings will be at the Weldon Springs Interpretive Center (7295 South Hwy 94, St Charles MO). Good lectures, good views, and great companionship with fellow astronomers! NOTE: Payment is made through ZEFFY, which does not charge a fee to ASEM/MSRAL. Instead, they ask for your donation to them and they suggest 15%. **No donation to Zeffy is required.** However, should you wish to support their great service to nonprofits like ourselves, we suggest 0-5%.
