The American Capoeira Foundation promotes cultural exchange and community through the art of Capoeira, fostering personal growth, social inclusion, and physical fitness while honoring the rich heritage of this Brazilian martial art.

🌟 Help us continue to offer San Juan for FREE!!! 🌟For the last 6 years, the San Juan celebration at our event, SUA CASA, has been provided to the community for FREE. We want to keep it that way. Hosting talented master teachers is not an easy feat. This year list many organizations, the costs to host San Juan has drastically put a strain on our events budget. As we are preparing to host San Juan again for the 6th year, we have created this donation campaign with the hopes of raising $1,500 to cover lodging and travel expenses for our San Juan artists. Funds raised from this campaign will help the American Capoeira Foundation carry out year 6 of San Juan in Charlotte for FREE to the community.&nbsp; Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. 🌟 Join us for FOLHA SECA 2026! 🌟 📣📣📣Our annual winter intensive featuring workshops from Mestre Amazonas and Contramestre Cas&aacute;vel! During this event, participants have an opportunity to go deeper into their understanding of capoeira movements, concepts and techniques.&nbsp;&nbsp;🎟️ Event registration covers the cost to attend the workshops. This does not include an event shirt. This year participants have the option to purchase and event hoodie! 🎫 👚👕Pre-orders for the event hoodie will end on November 6th. Your support helps preserve these art forms, sustain educational programs, and create spaces where people learn, move, and connect across generations and backgrounds. 🪢&nbsp;Together, we strengthen community through culture and shared experience.
