Our mission

The mission of the American Cetacean Society is to protect whales, dolphins, porpoises, and their habitats through public education, research grants, and conservation actions. The Puget Sound Chapter takes an ecosystem approach to improving the lives of marine mammals and the ecosystems that support them throughout the Salish Sea region.
