The American-Turkish Association of Southern California empowers young women through leadership programs, focusing on gastronomy education in Turkey. They foster cultural exchange and support women's development to create a better future.

Join us for &ldquo;Women at the AI Frontier&rdquo; 🤖✨, a conversation with Ece Kamar, Director of AI Frontiers Lab at Microsoft on designing AI with people at the center, and leading teams with empathy, clarity, and rigor. &nbsp;Hear concrete stories from the field and explore how thoughtful technology design can open doors for young women. The event raises funds for CYDD through two women centered organizations. TALL will provide scholarships to young women through CYDD and TWI provides these CYDD scholarship recipients with leadership training and simulations. Your registration will support young women in Turkiye to become leaders in emerging fields. Come and join us for a chance to hear from an amazing young women and empower more young women to become leaders.

Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Meyhouse. &nbsp;Join us for an evening with live music and 12-Course Antakya Sofrasi to support gastronomy students in Turkiye! &nbsp;🎉 Music by - Sinem Sen Gultekin featuring John R. Burr Proceeds from this evening will be used to support women university gastronomy students in TWI&#39;s signature Sparks leadership empowerment program during the 2026-27 academic year. TWI&#39;s Sparks leadership program is a unique 8-month long learning by doing program which provides young women university students a once-in- a lifetime opportunity to develop their leadership skills and excel in their chosen careers. &nbsp;Gastronomy students from all over Turkiye will be selected into this program. &nbsp; TWI is a California based 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a better world through young women&#39;s leadership. Join us for an intimate fireside chat with Umran Beba 🔥An interactive fireside chat with Umran Beba, global business &nbsp;executive, former PepsiCo senior leader, and internationally respected advocate for women&rsquo;s leadership and inclusion. Rather than a traditional talk, this session invites participants into a dynamic conversation where she will share her cross-continental career journey, discuss the realities of navigating leadership as an immigrant woman, and explore how authenticity and purpose shape meaningful impact. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions, share reflections, and engage directly with her as we discuss resilience, career growth, culture, and the power of community. This event is a part of the SparksUSA program, but also open to the public. Event will be free for SparksUSa participants for the rest of the public it will be $50 suggested donation for TWI. Since the SparksUSa program is supported entirely by donations, we appreciate your support in keeping our programs strong.&nbsp;
