The Student Emergency Aid Fund provides critical financial assistance to help students overcome unexpected hardships and stay on track toward achieving their educational goals. Many Angelina College students face challenges such as food insecurity, housing instability, transportation barriers, limited access to healthcare, and unemployment. A single financial emergency can derail a student's education. By meeting students' basic needs beyond the classroom, we remove barriers to success, increase persistence, and help students realize their dreams.

For many students, the required meningitis vaccination can be a significant barrier to enrolling at Angelina College. The cost of the vaccine, transportation to the Health District, and navigating the vaccination process can delay—or even prevent—their educational journey.Our Meningitis Initiative removes these obstacles by providing students with convenience and accessibility to the required vaccination. By eliminating financial and logistical barriers, we help students take their first step onto the Angelina College campus and move closer to achieving their educational and career goals.

The United Way of Angelina County unites local residents and partner agencies to meet essential human needs, improve quality of life, and empower individuals and families toward long-term self-sufficiency. By donating to this cause we are able to help assist with health care, emergency assistance, fire relief, home delivered meals for the elderly, education, drug and alcohol abuse, neglect and abuse in families, day care, after school programs, and libraries.Thank you for your support.
