Animal-Angels Foundation

Animal-Angels Foundation prevents animal homelessness by keeping families together through support and resources. We focus on proactive solutions to reduce shelter intake, ensuring pets stay with their owners during crises instead of surrendering them.

Join the $5 on the 5th Challenge On the 5th of each month, a simple $5 gift helps Animal-Angels Foundation keep pets with the families who love them. Most pet surrender begins before the shelter, when a vet bill, a housing deposit, or an empty food bowl becomes the thing a family cannot solve. Your $5 solves it first. Small gift, real preventionWhen you become a Prevention Partner, you fund the Bridge. That is emergency vet care, pet food, gas to get to an appointment, and help with housing deposits for families in crisis across our seven Central Alabama counties. Twenty partners cover a month of emergency pet food for a family. Forty cover the vet visit that would have ended in a surrender. Two hundred cover a housing deposit and keep a whole household together.

Cuenta Conmigo: Camiseta de Apoyo Fundacional

Across much of Blount County, the nearest open, affordable vet is a long drive and a bill nobody planned for. So the shots do not happen. The litters do. Strays climb, and the pressure lands on the county's animal services, its animal control, and the neighbors who call them. That is not a pet problem. It is a community health problem, and it costs the whole county. We are bringing a High-Impact Clinic to Blount County. One day, one place, real veterinary care brought right into the community: free and low-cost spay/neuter, rabies and core vaccines, microchips with free registration, and heartworm screening. Families who cannot get to a vet finally can, close to home. Prevention is cheaper than the alternative, for everyone. Keeping a pet healthy and with its family runs about $75 to $300. Processing that same animal through a shelter runs $900 or more. Alabama has already proven this works. Huntsville grew its spay/neuter program and cut citywide shelter intake roughly in half over five years, even as the city grew. Every dollar you give here goes upstream, to the fix that prevents the crisis instead of paying for it later. Your gift funds the clinic days, the vaccines, the surgeries, and the outreach that reaches the families who need it most. This is the No-Surrender Promise in action. We keep families and their pets together by solving the problem before anyone has to say goodbye. Give what you can. Every dollar keeps a pet healthy, keeps a family whole, and keeps one more animal out of a system that is already full. Thank you for bringing the vet clinic to Blount County.
