Most pet surrender begins before the shelter, when a vet bill, a housing deposit, or an empty food bowl becomes the thing a family cannot solve. Your $5 solves it first.Small gift, real preventionWhen you become a Prevention Partner, you fund the Bridge. That is emergency vet care, pet food, gas to get to an appointment, and help with housing deposits for families in crisis across our seven Central Alabama counties. Twenty partners cover a month of emergency pet food for a family. Forty cover the vet visit that would have ended in a surrender. Two hundred cover a housing deposit and keep a whole household together.
