This event supports AEG Puget Sound Chapter’s mission to advance the science and practice of engineering and environmental geology through shared knowledge and professional growth. We will also be host to Paul Weaver, President of National AEG, who will give a short presentation on his experiences in the industry and the value found in working as an engineering (and/or environmental) geologist! We will be meeting at Hotel116 in Bellevue, a few blocks away from the Wilburton Station of the 2-line light rail now crossing Lake Washington! Students, this is a great moment to share the hard work you've been doing in your university coursework with fellow geologists eager to learn what new discoveries are being made and new methodologies applied to our ever-changing world!
