Founded by formerly incarcerated community leader Maleek Jackson, the Azzim Dukes Initiative is a Philadelphia-based youth development nonprofit that uses boxing as a vehicle for mentorship, discipline, and a sense of belonging. We serve young people who need more than a gym &mdash; they need a community that believes in them. This Summer, We Need Your Help to Send 50 Kids to Camp. Our Contenders Summer Camp offers young people an immersive, structured summer experience centered on boxing, mentorship, and life skills &mdash; the kind of summer that changes trajectories. Camp costs $1,000 per child. We are committed to ensuring that cost never falls on a family. Our goal: fully sponsor 50 kids for Contenders Camp.&nbsp; Every dollar you give goes directly toward keeping a seat in this camp filled &mdash; and keeping a kid off the sidelines this summer. These kids are already doing the work. They just need us to meet them there. They&#39;re showing up. They&#39;re learning discipline, resilience, and what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves. They&#39;re becoming contenders &mdash; in the gym and in life.
