The Pikesville Police and Community Relations Council (PCRC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been working since 1983 to improve police-community relations and make Baltimore County safer. The PCRC provides a forum for law enforcement and citizens to discuss concerns, supporting the Pikesville Precinct with no state or county funding—relying solely on donations.PCRC supports officers by funding specialized training, purchasing essential equipment, and providing holiday meals for officers working on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Council also organizes an Annual Officer Appreciation Day and honors an Officer of the Year. Monthly meetings with community members address crime trends, share police updates, and offer crime prevention tips.
