A fundraising initiative to renovate the Tuscora Park major league baseball diamond, also known as Field #1, into a state-of-the-art baseball complex is underway. A group of baseball enthusiasts organized to create Baseball Now and Forever Inc., a project that will be completed in 4 phases. Each phase of renovation is a separate entity, designed to permit the game to be played without interruption. The goal of this project is to create a desirable baseball complex for local athletes to use while also designing a space that can be enjoyed by baseball players of all ages, 6 years old to adult, with low-key maintenance in mind. Every contribution brings us one step closer to a revitalized Field 1 that reflects the passion, tradition, and pride of New Phila baseball.
