In May 2023, the Boulder City Bears were formed to restore structured youth football and cheer while creating a long-term to High School athletics.In just a few seasons, the Bears have grown into a comprehensive program offering:• Tackle football (grades 3–8)• Co-ed flag football (ages 4–10)• All-girls flag football (ages 9–13)• Sideline and Competitive CheerOur tackle teams compete in both the Southern Utah Nevada Youth Football League (SUNYFL) and Pop Warner of Southern Nevada, giving our athletes exposure to strong regional competition and high standards of play.We emphasize fundamentals, proper technique, discipline, accountability, and respect. Our mission is not simply to field teams, but to build athletes who are prepared for high school competition and equipped with life skills that extend beyond the field. Our long-term goal is to return youth football to a model where families pay a single, all-inclusive registration fee, and the organization provides the equipment, uniforms, and high-level coaching necessary to develop athletes the right way—eliminating the need for families to absorb those additional costs of equipment and ensuring accessibility for all players.Commitment to Player SafetyBeginning this season, the Boulder City Bears have implemented Guardian Caps on helmets to provide additional impact protection during practices and games.
