KJ's Closet
In loving memory of Kimberly ‘KJ’ Morris, a vibrant soul taken too soon in the tragedy at Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016. Connecticut Public+2ESPN.com+2 We created KJ’s Closet to honor her strength, authenticity and spirit — to build a safe, thrift-boutique-style space where folks in the trans and gender-diverse community can walk in, try on clothes, and feel seen, celebrated, and comfortable being their most true selves. No judgement. No awkwardness. Just genuine support and joy. Our vision was born when our friend and volunteer Jayce told KJ’s story to us — and from that spark, the idea of what was once “The Dressing room” took shape and blossomed into KJ’s Closet at be; community. It’s more than clothes — it’s about belonging, dignity, and remembering KJ’s light by lifting up others. ❤️✊🏼Donation Info Thanks so much for thinking of us!
