LXCL:Being the Change is a grassroots community service organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada. We believe that small, consistent acts of kindness create lasting ripples of change.

25 Years Later. We Ride to Honor. On September 11, 2026, we will come together at the 3rd Street Stage at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas for the 9/11 Freedom Ride, a powerful 343-minute cycling tribute honoring the lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families forever impacted by September 11, 2001.The 343-minute ride represents the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice that day. Riders may participate for 30, 60, 120, or all 343 minutes, united by one shared purpose: to remember, honor, and ensure their courage is never forgotten. YOUR RIDE CAN MAKE AN IMPACTBy creating your own fundraising page, you can invite your friends, family, coworkers, and community to support your ride and the first responder community here in Southern Nevada. Funds raised through the 2026 9/11 Freedom Ride will benefit:🚔 Southern Nevada Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Supporting the surviving families and affected coworkers of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.🚒 Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada Benevolent Association Supporting Nevada firefighters and their families during times of injury, illness, tragedy, and hardship.Every donation made through your personal fundraising page contributes to the overall Freedom Ride fundraising effort, allowing us to honor the heroes of September 11 while giving back to organizations that stand behind the first responders who continue to serve our communities today. Beginning at 5:46 AM PT, the moment the first tower was struck, the Freedom Ride brings our community together at the 3rd Street Stage in the heart of the Fremont Street Experience for an unforgettable morning of remembrance, unity, and purpose. For 343 minutes, participants will take turns riding spin bikes in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. WHO YOUR RIDE SUPPORTSThe 9/11 Freedom Ride is about honoring the heroes we lost while standing behind the first responders who continue to protect and serve our communities today. Donations raised through the 2026 Freedom Ride will benefit two organizations dedicated to supporting our first responder community: 🚔 Southern Nevada Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) HOW THE RIDE WORKSRiders participate with a $1 donation for every minute they ride.Ride for 10 minutes and donate $10. Ride for 30 minutes and donate $30. Ride for 60 minutes and donate $60. Take on the full 343-minute challenge and donate $343. Every minute matters, and every minute is ridden in honor and remembrance.You do not need to be an experienced cyclist or athlete to participate. Whether you ride for five minutes, fifty minutes, or take on the full 343-minute challenge, every rider plays a part in keeping the memory and legacy of our fallen heroes alive.This is more than a ride.
