LA TourEvery other year, our band and orchestra students travel to to a different location for a few days of performing, learning, and seeing a part of the music world they don't get in Berkeley—master classes with college directors, a concert with another high school's program, and a shot to sight-read at this time in LA at Disneyland. It's the kind of experience that turns a good musician into someone who wants to keep playing after high school.Eligibility:Any student in 2° Band/Orchestra 3, orAny junior or senior in 0° Band/Orchestra 2, without 0° lab conflictsTour highlights:Two workshops with college music directors, plus campus toursExchange concert with a local LA high schoolBack Lot sight-reading workshop at Disneyland, plus a full day at the parkSanta Monica Pier, Griffith Observatory, LA Phil, and more sightseeingAn afternoon of community service

BHS Band, Orchestra, Chorus, and Dance have their Caz Jumpstart on Friday and Saturday, September 18-19. The 2-day BHS Retreat will serve as a way for our advanced groups from Band, Orchestra, Chorus, and Dance and to get to know each other and spend some time out in the fresh air!Camp is 90% outdoors. We will play, practice, sleep and eat outdoors. Masks are not required, but please mask up whenever you wish!
