Viva Cristo Rey! 100 Years of Faith and Freedom One hundred years after the beginning of the Cristiada, we remember one of the most significant chapters in Mexico&rsquo;s history and the struggle for the right to live and publicly express one&rsquo;s faith. During the 1920s, harsh anti-clerical laws restricted religious worship and led to the persecution of priests and laypeople. Thousands of Mexicans responded through civic resistance and, later, the uprising known as the Cristero War. Many remained faithful even in the face of persecution and death. Join us for a special conference featuring Fr. Rafael Becerra (EWTN) and Rodrigo Iv&aacute;n Cort&eacute;s (ADF International). 100 Years of Faith and Freedom will be a morning to learn about our history, honor their witness, and reflect on religious freedom in our time. &iexcl;Viva Cristo Rey! 100 A&ntilde;os de Fe y Libertad A cien a&ntilde;os del inicio de la Cristiada, recordamos uno de los episodios m&aacute;s importantes de M&eacute;xico y la lucha por el derecho a vivir y expresar p&uacute;blicamente la fe. Durante la d&eacute;cada de 1920, severas leyes anticlericales restringieron el culto y provocaron la persecuci&oacute;n de sacerdotes y laicos. Miles de mexicanos respondieron mediante la resistencia c&iacute;vica y, posteriormente, el levantamiento conocido como Guerra Cristera. Muchos permanecieron fieles aun frente a la persecuci&oacute;n y la muerte. Acomp&aacute;&ntilde;enos en esta conferencia especial con el Padre Rafael Becerra (EWTN) y Rodrigo Iv&aacute;n Cort&eacute;s (ADF International). 100 A&ntilde;os de Fe y Libertad ser&aacute; una ma&ntilde;ana para conocer nuestra historia, honrar su testimonio y reflexionar sobre la libertad religiosa en nuestro tiempo.
