Birmingham Dog Rescue Inc

Birmingham Dog Rescue Inc saves dogs from high-kill shelters, providing them with medical care, training, and foster homes until they find forever families. Their mission is to prevent euthanasia and improve the lives of abandoned dogs.

Every bid helps a dog take its next safe step. Funds raised through Birmingham Dog Rescue’s Silent Auction support urgent vet care, daily food, and rehabilitation for abandoned and neglected dogs in our community. 🐶 Use this form to submit your auction item details and donor information. Your generosity brings us closer to more wagging tails, warm beds, and lasting adoptions for dogs who need a second chance. ❤️

Birmingham Dog Rescue's Silent Auction

Birmingham Dog Rescue is a certified 501c3 that was founded in 2024. It hit its stride in 2025, when the organization saved 75 dogs from high kill shelters and other dismal circumstances. Every year, in the US, over 500,000 adoptable dogs are killed while waiting for someone to adopt them. They are killed for lack of space and resources and not for any other reason. Birmingham Dog Rescue pulls dogs from high kill shelters and places them in foster homes while they await their forever homes. BDR invests substantially in the medical needs and training of their dogs and does not give up on them. We are really hoping you will join us for a fun evening at Birmingham Pub at 555 S. Old Woodward. We are going to have great drinks and food, silent auction items, a raffle and more. Most importantly, we'll have a fun group of friends and fellow supporters! Every registration to this event helps save discarded dogs from euthanasia and abuse. Our funds are used for food, shelter, boarding, training, transport, enrichment, medical and so many other things. We have zero overhead and every dollar goes to a dog in need. Thank you for supporting our mission, we can’t save lives without you.
