Roger is a kitten who needs additional, lifesaving surgery. Today, 9.18.2026, Roger went to the vet for hernia surgery and neuter. During his pre-op exam, we also discovered he has a significant heart murmur - grade 6/6. We have not seen such a profound hernia, but what was found, was that he actually had two hernias! One hernia was repaired, and while repairing the second, unexpected hernia, the first incision became unsutured. So Roger is going to take two weeks to heal, then have the remaining hernia repaired using surgical mesh. We are raising $600 to pay for Roger's current surgical fees and for his surgery in two weeks, and think about a cardiac appointment in his future, as there is a possibility of the murmur resolving or improving. Your gift helps pay for Roger’s surgery, medication, and follow-up care. Any funds raised above and beyond Roger's needs help to protect our promise at Biscuit Factory Animal Rescue Inc: to stand by every treatable pet in our care and give them a fair chance at a better life. ❤️
