Bring the 2026 Blairsville Chamber Music Festival to a thrilling close with a spectacular grand finale featuring two monumental masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire. This unforgettable afternoon showcases Mozart&rsquo;s radiant Grande Sestetto Concertante&nbsp;(a chamber rendition of Mozart&#39;s Sinfonia Concertante) and Barber&#39;s Adagio for Strings, alongside Mendelssohn&rsquo;s electrifying Octet, one of the most dazzling and exuberant works ever written for strings. Performed by an extraordinary ensemble of festival artists, the program celebrates the brilliance, energy, and emotional power of chamber music at its grandest scale. Overflowing with virtuosity, soaring melodies, and breathtaking intensity, this final concert serves not only as the culmination of the 2026 festival, but also as the grand conclusion to the Blairsville Chamber Music Society&rsquo;s outstanding 2025&ndash;26 season. BCMF 2026: Grand Finale: Mendelssohn & Mozart

Celebrate America&rsquo;s 250th anniversary with an inspiring afternoon of music shaped by the American spirit. Presented in the historic St. Peter&#39;s Episcopal Church, a nearly 200-year-old landmark in downtown Blairsville, this special program features Amy Beach&rsquo;s sweeping Piano Quintet, Dvoř&aacute;k&rsquo;s beloved &ldquo;American&rdquo; String Quartet, music by local composer Stanley Chepaitis, and works by festival musicians Ariel Horowitz and Owen Dodds. From folk-inspired melodies to bold, expressive voices, the program reflects the richness, energy, and evolving story of American music and identity. BCMF 2026: Vivaldi's Four Seasons: Free Outdoor Concert

Blairsville Chamber Music Society welcomes the return of three exceptional artists: Owen Dodds (piano), and Gustavo Antoniacomi (cello), and Hudson Chung (violin) for an afternoon of vibrant and compelling chamber music. As the Mozze Trio, these BCMS favorites bring a dynamic blend of precision, energy, and expressive depth to the piano trio repertoire. Their program explores a rich range of musical voices, from the lyricism of Anton Arensky to the bold colors of Rodion Shchedrin and the rhythmic vitality of Astor Piazzolla. More about the Mozze TrioThe Mozze Trio brings together Korean-Israeli violinist Hudson Chung, Brazilian cellist Gustavo Antoniacomi, and American pianist Owen Dodds. Named after a Hebrew word meaning &ldquo;to discover,&rdquo; The Mozze Trio embodies a spirit of exploration in their music-making. Founded in fall 2024, the trio is currently in residence at Stony Brook University, where all three members are doctoral candidates. They have worked closely with musicians including Gilbert Kalish, Arnaud Susman, Colin Carr, and Phil Setzer. The Mozze Trio has appeared in concerts presented by the Macdowell Series, Arts at Ardmore, Buzz2a, and the Rites of Spring Festival. After winning First Prize at the Long Island Conservatory Chamber Music Competition, the trio will make its debut at Carnegie Hall&rsquo;s Zankel Hall next season. This special performance marks the final concert of the season before our Summer Festival (June 14-28), offering a joyful and celebratory close to a year of extraordinary music-making.
