The Blazers Ski Club was founded in 1978 by a group of African American skiers to create a community for minorities who wished to participate in winter sports when there was little to no diversity among amateur and professional skiers. Since our founding, and joining the National Brotherhood of Snowsports (NBS) one year later, we have shared many exciting experiences while introducing countless youth and adults from our community to skiing and snowboarding.
