Bloomsbury Herd

LXCL:Bloomsbury Herd is a vegan sanctuary dedicated to providing lifelong care to goats rescued from exploitation, educating about justice for animals, and inspiring humans to live compassionately.

Support needed! May is Medical Month for the herd, and you&#39;ll agree that wellness checks are a vital part of responsible animal care. Everyone is pretty healthy! Each goat will receive their annual vaccinations (called CDT) for $19, rabies shot for $40, fecal test ($34) and treatment for parasites, and a once-over by our vet team. Starla needs her annual dental checkup ($40), and Chip &amp; Hennessy need vet-level hoof trims ($34). Rest assured, we also do trims throughout the year with our bravest volunteers. &nbsp;*ABOUT FEES: Please note that this fundraising platform does not require a fee. You can zero out the suggested &quot;tip&quot; and 100% of your donation will go to the herd&#39;s care.

Medical May Fundraiser

A goat&#39;s most essential feed is quality hay. We are about to stock up for the fall and winter - it&#39;s now $10 a bale! Can you help us with a bale or two? We also are in need of our own hay storage barn, which is a big expense. When June and her baby Mae were rescued from a farm-to-table breeding operation, we displaced our hay shed to make room for them. We need enough storage on site to get us through the colder months. Will you help us make that happen? Any amount is appreciated and will go directly to the shed project. PLEASE NOTE: we&#39;ve chosen Zeffy as our fundraising platform because they do not take a fee from your donation AND if you zero out the tip, you don&#39;t have to pay a fee either!
