Children's Trauma Healing Facilitator Training
🎉Boston Collaborative is offering a Children's Trauma Healing Facilitator Training. This training will give you the ability to bring the Healing Hearts groups to churches, vacation bible schools and groups where children meet together. Life is not easy and bad things happen to all of us that cause our hearts to be wounded. Unattended wounds of the heart can result in poor health, bad behavior, depression, violence, difficulty in school and many other negative symptoms. This facilitator training will equip you to help guide children (ages 8-13) to learn about their hearts and teach the children how to understand their heart pain in a way that will move them toward healing. You will have access to the materials to help them move forward through stories, games, art and music. These Healing Hearts Groups create a welcoming and safe space that helps them share their own stories, make new friends and learn about God as the one who can heal the wounds of their hearts.Dates and Times:Thursday (Online) 8/20 Overview and What to Expect 7pm-8pmFriday 8/21 (In Person) Day 1 (10am -4pm) Saturday 8/22 (in Person) Day 2 (10am-4pm)You will need to attend both Day 1 and Day 2 to be certified.Address:BMA Office2010 Columbus Ave (Lower Level)Roxbury, MA 02119
