The Bourbon Economic Development Group fosters community growth by enhancing tourism and supporting local businesses through events like the Bourbon BBQ Festival, which generates economic opportunities and promotes Bourbon's unique heritage.

Downtown Bourbon is more than a stop along Route 66. It is a place with history, heart and hardworkinglocal businesses. The Bourbon BBQ Festival celebrates that spirit by bringing visitors from across theregion into our community and creating new opportunities for economic growth. Each year, the festival welcomes hundreds of visitors, filling our streets, restaurants, shops and gas stationswith new faces and new dollars. This event is designed with one goal in mind: increasing tourism inBourbon while creating meaningful economic impact for local businesses like yours. When you sponsor the Bourbon BBQ Festival, you are not just supporting a one-day event. You areinvesting in the future of our town. Proceeds from this year&rsquo;s festival will continue to help fund thedevelopment of a Route 66 Welcome Center and a dog walking trail on the one-acre site of the futurewelcome center.
