Brave The Shave

Brave The Shave empowers families facing childhood cancer by organizing fun, community-driven events that raise funds for support services, fostering hope and camaraderie among participants and honorees.

Brave the Shave&#39;s YMCA shaving event is on! This year&#39;s theme is Carnival - Under the Big Top.&nbsp; Join us on Saturday April 18, 2026 (12pm-3pm) at the Missouri Valley Family YMCA in Bismarck for some undeniable fun for the entire family. There will be the Vitalant Bloodmobile, inflatables, face painting, carnival booths, vendors and tables filled with silent auction items. Join us for this hair cutting and head-shaving frenzy! Some of our children and families will also be at the event, where we will celebrate all of our honorees. Doors open at 12pm and the head shaving begins at 1:30pm. For those that don&#39;t wish to shave, or just want to give their bodies some exercise a fundraising walk on the upper track will take place from 1:30pm-2:30pm.&nbsp;
