We educate, entertain and create hope-filled, inclusive community. We exist to elevate brave voices, and effect healing & change in the world with film. We do this in our weekly/monthly events, classes, annual film fest and in our original films.   

🎬🌟 Support BraveMaker and embrace the Power of Stories 🌟🎬 With your support we can accomplish a meaningful and impactful 8th annual FILM FEST that brings hope and light to our community that desperately needs it.&nbsp; At BraveMaker, we leverage the power of movies to educate, entertain, and create change in the Bay Area and beyond. We believe in fostering empathy, breaking down barriers, and sparking crucial conversations where everyone can participate in our annual film fest in Redwood City, CA.&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">We are currently raising funds to cover our our 8th annual fest needs for seasonal staff, lodging, venue rentals (and cleanings), audio and visual gear for our workshops and screenings, catering for our filmmakers and more! --As a nonprofit film fest with out a permanent location of our own and dwindling charitable support-- we need extra resources to rent temporary spots for our workshops and creative gatherings that require a lot of furnishings to accommodate our audiences and filmmakers (that ticket sales do not cover). &nbsp;And very important--we need funds to hire ASL interpreters to support our deaf audiences which we have another fund set up to donate.&nbsp;</li></ul>Will you join us in shaping a more understanding, inclusive and brave world with us? &nbsp;🎥⚡

Accessibility Fund for BraveMaker Film Fest

New OFFICE space. 🎬🌟Since we lost our studio space (we were in the same space for 6 years) in April 2025--we have been with out a permanent office space.&nbsp;We now have the opportunity to have an office in downtown Redwood City and with your support we can establish ourselves in the heart of Redwood City.
