Want to run/walk around with your friends? Want to exercise while having fun and earn shoe tokens for goals that you meet? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to join the Brookside Elementary Marathon Miler's program! Our primary goal is to have fun while running/walking together as a group during lunch recess. All Brookside Elementary students are welcome to participate! We would love for you to discuss this opportunity with your child and ask for you to support him or her in being committed to running or walking at least 1 lap (.25 miles) on each recess running day (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays this fall).
