Operation JerryFor more than 40 years, Jerry&nbsp;called the same house home. Since 1984, those walls have sheltered a family through life&#39;s greatest joys and greatest challenges.A proud veteran, he dedicated part of his life to serving our country. Later, as a single father, he worked tirelessly to raise his children in that very home, creating a place filled with love, resilience, and hope.Today, life looks very different. He lives with hereditary spastic paraplegia, a progressive neurological condition that has taken away much of his mobility and independence. Jerry, is primarily wheelchair bound and his son&mdash;one of the children he lovingly raised in that home&mdash;is now his full-time caregiver, is also facing challenges. In a heartbreaking turn, his son has also begun showing signs of the same degenerative condition, making each day a little more challenging for them both.Despite everything they face, they continue to meet each day with courage and determination. But there is one challenge they cannot overcome alone.Their roof has reached the end of its life. Every storm brings worry. Every leak threatens the home that has protected this family for decades.
