Boo Bash 2025

Dear Community Friends,We’re proud to announce that our nonprofit Burbank Parent Education Council (BPEC) is continuing the Burbank Holiday Basket Program to continue a cherished local tradition. For many years, the Burbank Coordinating Council lovingly coordinated this effort; but after they closed two years ago, we’ve stepped up to ensure Burbank families still receive care and joy during the holidays. We serve households living in Burbank (ZIPs 91501–91506) or with children in the Burbank Unified School District who are facing financial hardship. Each donated basket provides a grocery gift card, basic household essentials, some pantry staples, and modest gifts for each member of the family, helping neighbors who are facing financial hardship, job loss, or other recent challenges. Every donation - large or small - helps fill a basket and make the holidays brighter for a local family. In our first year running the program, we helped 40 families. This year, our goal is to help 50 local families! We invite you, your business, or community group to sponsor a basket or contribute any amount toward this effort. Together, we can continue this tradition of compassion and keep the holidays hopeful for Burbank families in need.To donate or learn more, please visit burbankparented.org or contact Lucía Floríndez-Cox, BPEC President at president@bpecouncil.org.With gratitude,Lucía Floríndez-CoxBPEC President
