California Medicine Coalition

The California Medicine Coalition advocates for a robust primary care workforce in California. They focus on enhancing graduate medical education pathways, addressing healthcare disparities, and fostering collaboration among medical professionals to improve community health.

You&#39;ve been invited to join us in-person for the upcoming CMC convening on May 28th from 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM at The California Endowment in Oakland &nbsp;and a post-convening dinner at 5:00 PM. This special invitation is reserved for members of the CMC GME Pathways Back to California Advisory Committee, the CMC Board, our speakers and a few invited guests. Please use this form to confirm your in-person attendance, whether you will join us for dinner, share any access needs, and help us plan a productive working session. &nbsp;🤝 This convening is also accessible virtually for members of the public. Convening DetailsThis is the second of CMC&#39;s 3-part GME Pathways Back to California convening series. This May 28th convening will include three sessions at 10:00 - 11:30 AM, 12:00 - 1:30 PM and 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Sessions will include presentation and discussion looking at quantitative and qualitative data trends and research about the landscape of need for primary care residency, medical student perspectives on pursuing primary care residency in California, and Match trends into primary care from the National Resident Matching Program. Time for in-person discussion and debrief will occur throughout the day. This is a hybrid event, with Advisory Committee and board members invited in person. In-person breakfast and registration begins at 9:00 AM with a Welcome and Introduction at 9:30 AM.
