Because kids can't fight cancer alone!Candlelighters of Southwest Florida is looking for compassionate, dependable volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of children diagnosed with cancer and/or blood disorders and their families.Volunteers are an important part of helping us provide support, education, family activities, community outreach, and meaningful experiences for families throughout Southwest Florida.Volunteer Opportunities Include But Are Not Limited To:Helping with family events and activitiesAssisting with setup and cleanup at eventsPreparing donations, care packages, and family resourcesOrganizing supplies and program materialsHelping with community outreachAssisting with fundraising activitiesSupporting administrative and office projectsHelping with social media, marketing, and website projectsDistributing educational and community resource materialsProviding general support wherever help is neededWe welcome volunteers who can help occasionally, seasonally, or on an ongoing basis. Candlelighters of Southwest Florida is excited to offer our 2026 Holiday Gift Program, sponsored by the Cape Coral Fire Department!Please register your family by November 20, 2026, and share gift suggestions for your Candlelighters child and their siblings.Gifts are for children living in your household who are age 18 or younger only.Submitting a wish list does not guarantee that your family will be selected by the Fire Department. Families are encouraged to submit their forms as early as possible, before the November 20, 2026 deadline.Complete one registration per household.
