Carson Farmers Market is a community gathering space that brings together local farmers, food producers, makers, artists, and neighbors each week to support local agriculture, small businesses, and access to fresh, locally grown food. In 2026 alone, farmers who participate in Carson Farmers Market may lose more than $13,000 in funding tied directly to programs that help individuals and families experiencing food insecurity access fresh, locally grown food. At the same time, reductions in long-standing support continue creating new challenges for both the market and the farmers who rely on it. Looking ahead, Carson Farmers Market is also preparing for the future temporary relocation of the market during the Mills Park remodel, creating additional challenges for farmers, customers, accessibility, and the long-term sustainability of the market. Your donation helps support local farmers, strengthen food access efforts within our community, and sustain a community-centered space focused on fresh food, agriculture, and connection.
