Along with keeping our kiddos in the forefront of the community's minds, these signs show that these businesses or families are supporters of CASA of Jefferson County.You too can "Sponsor a Metal CASA kid" with a $250 annual donation.Funds raised from these sponsorships go into our general fund as unrestricted donations. These funds are used to fill in the gaps. While we do receive grant funding, those funds are very specific. Our general fund has been used for things ranging from operating expenses to maintenance on a CASA kiddos car.

Did you know that a CASA Volunteer donates 5-15 hours of time monthly to provide a consistent adult presence in the life of a foster child? “I just don’t have that time to give,” you might think. “What can I do to help?” You can help children who have been abused or neglected by committing to a monthly donation to support CASA Volunteers in their role as Advocates to foster children.CASA Volunteers know the children in foster care they serve, they know their story and unique circumstances, and they have their best interests in mind. Having a CASA Volunteer by a child’s side can be the difference between despair and hope. Your donation helps cover the cost of CASA Advocacy services.CASA is the only volunteer-based agency with a legal role, provided through court appointment, to advocate for children who are in the foster care system.
