CASA of Scotts Bluff County trains volunteers to advocate for children in foster care who have faced abuse and neglect, ensuring they have a voice and support in navigating the system, fostering hope and healing in their lives.

Light of Hope 2026 Join us for the annual Light of Hope Fundraiser benefiting CAPstone Child Advocacy Center and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an evening dedicated to supporting abused and neglected children in our community. 📅 Thursday, September 3, 2026🕔 5:00 PM &ndash; 7:00 PM📍 Gering Civic Center Guests will enjoy dinner and an inspiring program highlighting the impact of CAPstone and CASA&#39;s work throughout our region. A cash bar will be available. This year&#39;s featured guest speaker is Kevin McNeil, who will share a powerful message of hope and advocacy. Attendees will also hear updates from CAPstone and CASA about the vital services they provide and the incredible work being done by our community to protect and support children and families. Proceeds from the event help:<ul data-spread="false" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Recruit, train, supervise, and retain CASA volunteers who advocate for children in the court system.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Support mental health counseling services for non-offending caregivers whose children have experienced abuse or neglect and receive services through CAPstone.</li></ul>Your attendance helps bring hope, healing, and advocacy to children who need it most. Join us for a special evening celebrating 30 years of CASA of Scotts Bluff County and the incredible impact our community has made for children in need. This anniversary celebration will take place on June 26, 2026 at Papa Moon Farm and will feature an unforgettable night of dueling pianos by Rock It Man Entertainment, a BBQ dinner, a cash bar, and a fireworks finale to close the evening.&nbsp; For three decades, CASA of Scotts Bluff County has trained volunteer advocates to speak up for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Your attendance helps us continue providing a voice for local children in foster care.&nbsp; Come celebrate with us, enjoy a night of great food and entertainment, and help support the mission of CASA in our community.&nbsp; ** In the event the celebration must be canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, tickets are non-refundable and will be treated as a donation to CASA of Scotts Bluff County. Your support helps us continue advocating for children in our community.
