LXCL:The mission of The Catz Den Community is to provide the city of Wayland and nearby communities with a place to gather, hold meetings, etc. We utilize therapy cats, teen programs and coffee hours to bring together the community and are always looking to partner with companies and other non-profits that want to support community engagement in an inclusive, safe environment.&nbsp;

Join us for an afternoon of crafting your own beautiful sunflower wreath to take home! And of course hanging out with our kitties!! $25 per person, includes all materials needed to make a wreath. All proceeds help our kitties!

Volunteering positions of many are needed. &nbsp;We will find a place for you to help. &nbsp;Everything from cat care, teen mentoring/activities, general cleaning, storage organization, store stocking and register, office paperwork, special events and SO MUCH MORE. &nbsp;There is a place for everyone to help. &nbsp; All ages can volunteer however anyone under the age of 14 will need to have an parent/guardian/adult on site in order to volunteer Once you submit this contract (one per household) you will need to attend a new volunteer information meeting. &nbsp; These meetings are held every 6 weeks in the evening, 6:30-8:30 PM, at The Catz Den, &nbsp;120 S Main Street, Wayland. &nbsp;At this meeting you will be scheduled for training if needed as you choose your area of volunteering and the you can get started right away. If you are UNDER 18 you MUST have a parent/guardian present just for this time information meeting. &nbsp;If you are 14 or older you can volunteer without a parent after this meeting but a Parent/Guardian must be present at the first meeting. &nbsp;Please leave small children home for this, they can help later. &nbsp;Training for your volunteering will take place afterwards.&nbsp;

Join us at The Catz Den on Sunday, August 9, from 1pm-3pm to create your own glowing jellyfish! All materials are included, and this craft is perfect for all ages, bring the whole family! No experience needed!! Cost is $10 per person and includes all supplies needed. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the care of our kitties.&nbsp;🪼

New Volunteer Orientation 

Red, White &amp; Welcome Signs - We will provide pre-painted paint sticks, red, white, and blue patriotic stickers, Americana ribbons, twine accents and everything you need to make your very own patriotic welcome sign- just in time for the 4th of July!!! No crafting experience needed, these are easy to make and one of our volunteers will be leading a class showing you how it&rsquo;s done! Plan to spend an hour or so here, and spend any extra time visiting with our kitties!!! 🇺🇸✨

Join us for a fun night of making pressed flower candle jars. $15 per person and all materials are provided to make one jar.

This is a brand new fall event and we can&rsquo;t wait to bring it to the community!! The craft fest will take place at Wayland City Park on September 26th from 10am to 5pm. Help us raise funds for our feline community! Vendor fees go directly to our non-profit organization! Vendor fees are $50, or $45 if you&#39;d like to donate a raffle prize.
