CVCMF 2026: Poetry in Motion (Season Ticket)

Join us for &ldquo;A Summer Schubertiade&rdquo; on July 16, an evening of chamber music focused solely on the incredible music of Franz Schubert and his art of setting words to music.&nbsp; This ticket supports Cedar Valley Chamber Music&rsquo;s mission to connect communities through accessible, close‑up performances and musical storytelling. Settle in, listen closely, and share a summer night where live music invites conversation, reflection, and connection. 🎻✨

July 16: A Summer Schubertiade

Our 2026 festival kicks off on July 12 with &ldquo;The Juliet Letters,&rdquo; a chamber music program that features works some might define as &quot;classical crossover&quot; in the idea that they are classically composed, but inspired by popular, rock, jazz, and similar modern idioms. The feature works are a new commissioned work by Iowa composer Jonathan Schwabe and &quot;The Juliet Letters&quot; by Elvis Costello, featuring Iowa native Dakota Andersen alongside a string quartet of CVCM musicians. &nbsp;🎻 Your ticket purchase helps bring artists and audiences closer together, supporting concerts, outreach, and education across the Cedar Valley. We want to sell out this event so please&nbsp;invite a friend, and share this evening of music and conversation. 🎟️

July 12: The Juliet Letters

Music is in the air this Valentine&#39;s Week with Cedar Valley Chamber Music&#39;s annual Valentine&#39;s Day concert in partnership with the Hearst Center. Come hear artists Erik Rohde, Hannah Porter Occe&ntilde;a, and Jamie Clark as they present a program of music of Joseph Haydn, Christopher Theofanidis, Hector Villa-Lobos, and Joan Tower. Admission is free, but please call the Hearst Center in advance to reserve your seats.&nbsp;
