Central Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association

The Central Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association promotes music education through collaboration, professional development, and community engagement, fostering a love for music in students and supporting music educators in their teaching endeavors.

The Phyllis Triolo Competition is open to talented middle and high school students from across Central Pennsylvania. Contestants perform in a public recital before a panel of judges, gaining valuable experience in performance and artistry. Junior Division: Grades 6&ndash;8Senior Division: Grades 9&ndash;12 Students must live in one of the following counties: Centre, Lycoming, Blair, Clearfield, Clinton, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Snyder, or Union. Celebrate Mother&#39;s Day 🌷🎶 with music! Students of all&nbsp;levels are invited to share their pieces in a supportive setting. Pieces don&#39;t need to be memorized for CPMTA recitals. Depending on the number of students registering, multiple recitals may happen in the same afternoon. Please feel free to bring some treats to share with each other after the performances! There will be a small reception after each recital. Hosted by the Central Pennsylvania Music Teacher Association (CPMTA). Location: Oakwood Presbyterian Church on 1865 Waddle Rd, State College In addition to paying for the recital entry, you will need to submit student details so we can make the program. Mother's Day Student Recital

Get ready for a high-energy afternoon of music and treats at our upcoming Piano Party! It&rsquo;s the ultimate &quot;no-stress&quot; stage where students can show off their favorite pieces, test-drive their Triolo repertoire, and celebrate their hard work with a community of fellow piano fans. We&rsquo;ll wrap up the performances with refreshments&mdash;it&rsquo;s the perfect way to build performance confidence while making new musical friends!
