The mission of the Challenged Champions Equestrian Center, Inc. is to enrich and improve the lives of children and adults with mental, physical, and emotional challenges through facilitated equine activities.

15th Annual Golf Outing

Horse Powered Reading brings together literacy and equine-assisted learning in a quiet, supportive arena 🐴. Readers work alongside our horses to build confidence, focus, and comprehension through hands-on activities. Goals of Horse Powered Reading are aligned Science of Reading components which include the BIG 5! &nbsp;Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocab, Fluency, Comprehension.&nbsp; Group and private sessions available!

Horse Powered Reading

Self-Regulation Camp&nbsp;is a 2 1/2 hour camp where participants will have time in the classroom with prevention and education experts from the Family Resource Center to learn about self-regulation and calming techniques. &nbsp;Participants will also get time in the barn to get hands-on with the horses and take a riding lesson! Registration for different groups is as follows (please register for only one date) and limited to 8 participants per session: Ages 4-11 (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM) July 13 or August 10*Newly Added* Ages 4-11 (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM) July 27

Self-Regulation Camp

Healthy As a Horse Camp is a 2-hour camp where participants will have time in the classroom with prevention and education experts from the Family Resource Center to talk about age-appropriate healthy living habits including nutrition, personal hygiene, and social connection.&nbsp; Participants will also have time in the barn to get hands-on with the horses and learn about horse care. &nbsp;Registration for different age groups is as follows and limited to 12 participants per session: Ages 3-6 (9:30-11:30)Ages 7-12 (12:30-2:30)

Challenged Champions does not turn any participant away for inability to pay. &nbsp;We work diligently to raise funds to ensure our services are accessible to all who qualify.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
