Participants will build their own handheld video game system and construct a fully functional LEGO&reg; mechanical keyboard, exploring circuitry, microcontrollers, soldering, switches, and custom design along the way. In this hands-on camp, students learn the full product design process, from sketching concepts to modeling in CAD and fabricating with 3D printers. Campers explore digital design, rapid prototyping, and additive manufacturing while building real-world STEM skills.

Ready to take your cooking skills to the next level? In this hands-on cooking class, kids ages 8 and up will chop, stir, and create a complete dinner from scratch. They&rsquo;ll learn essential kitchen skills, including safe chopping, basic cooking techniques, and how to set a table like a pro. At the end, families are invited back to share and enjoy the delicious meal together. &nbsp;At 6:30 p.m., families are invited back to enjoy dinner, with up to two additional guests per young chef. A fun and tasty way to build confidence in the kitchen while making memories!

AeroQuest: Teen Drone and Flight Fundamentals CampJuly 27-31st; 10-1:00 p.m.Ages 13+ This hands-on aviation technology camp prepares teens to earn their FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License. In partnership with the Town of Bloomsburg Airport and the local EAA chapter, students learn flight safety, airspace rules, weather, navigation, and drone operation through both classroom instruction and field practice. Learn about the properties of flight and airplane design with the Susquehanna Valley Modelers. By the end of the week, participants gain the skills and knowledge needed to take the FAA drone certification exam and begin pursuing real-world careers in aviation, surveying, and advanced manufacturing.

Ceramics Summer CampJuly 22-24th &amp; July 27-28th; 10-1:00 p.m.Ages 6+ In this 5-day clay camp with Miss Gail, campers will explore their creativity while learning the basics of working with stoneware clay. Each participant will design and craft a personal, one-of-a-kind tile using foundational clay-building techniques. They&#39;ll bring their tile to life with vibrant colors and paint, discovering how texture, shape, and design come together to create a lasting piece of art. Perfect for young artists who love to get their hands dirty and express themselves through clay! Ages 6+.This class will run from Wednesday, July 22nd through Friday, July 24th and then Monday, July 27th through Tuesday, July 28th. Miss Gail will fire the pieces over the weekend for campers Meet Miss Gail!Miss Gail has been making art since she was a little kid! She grew up surrounded by creative people&mdash;her grandfather was a painter, and she loved spending time with him learning about his work. Miss Gail has tried lots of different kinds of art, like sewing, woodworking, and painting, but she fell in love with working with clay. Now, she has her own art studio in the mountains where she makes beautiful pottery and mosaics. She loves helping kids explore their creativity and can&#39;t wait to make clay art with you this summer!

Throughout the day, participants will take part in hands-on activities, creative maker projects, and exciting experiments inspired by popular space-themed fandoms and real NASA missions. Design your own spacecraft, build alien worlds, test out futuristic technology, and explore the mysteries of the universe through interactive challenges. Costumes are encouraged, so come dressed as your favorite galactic hero, space explorer, or alien character! Fantastic Felines Art CampJuly 6-10th; 1-4:00 p.m.Ages 6+ Young artists will celebrate all things cat-inspired in this paws-itively creative camp! Campers will explore cat-themed art through the ages &mdash; from ancient civilizations to modern animation. Projects will include making our own cat &ldquo;mummy&rdquo; inspired by history, as well as creating an original cartoon cat character full of personality.Along the way, artists will experiment with painting, drawing, sculpting, and mixed media while learning how to capture expressive eyes, whiskers, and fluffy textures. Maker Camp IIIJuly 6-10th; 10-1:00 p.m.Ages 6+ We are partnering with the US Department of Defense STEM Education Consortium and TIES to offer the STEM-on-the-GO Mobile Digital Fabrication/Machining Van to our area! Students will be engaged in solving real-world STEM challenges using the Engineering Design Process while learning how to use design software and the digital fabrication and machining equipment in the van. 3D printing CAD design, electronics, CNC, and much more! Projects for all Maker Camp sessions are different!

Redcoats &amp; Rebels: America 250 CampJune 29-July 3rd; 10-1:00 p.m.Ages 11+ To celebrate the 250th anniversary of America&rsquo;s founding, enter into the turbulent times of the American Revolution. Students will become revolutionaries for a new republic or loyalists to the British Crown and engage in a variety of games and activities to win over the public to their respective side. Led by Dylan Smith, a political science graduate from Bloomsburg University, students will learn history, adopt personas, respectfully debate, and advance their beliefs. Will America become free, or will King George&rsquo;s forces regain control? You decide!

Surgeon Jr. will allow kids to explore the world of medicine and surgery through interactive experiments and real-life examples. Coffee and Crafts: Art Class for Adults

Join Miss Sara of Mock Pie Studio to make a fun and festive fall pumpkin. In the first session, we&rsquo;ll form the pumpkin from upcycled materials, create paper clay, and coat it. After drying the pumpkin, we&rsquo;ll paint it and add a real dried pumpkin stem in the second session, &nbsp;Ages 6+.

Join Miss Madi for this new monthly Cookie Club series! Each month, club members will learn a new cookie recipe and get to take home samples. After the end of each session, club members will get to vote on the next recipe to try! Join our Nerf Modification Club and dive into the exciting world of engineering design through hands-on Nerf blaster builds! Each month, students explore the science, mechanics, and creativity behind Nerf technology.Participants complete two guided projects: a spring mod with the Nerf HotShock and an electronic mod&mdash;both blasters provided. Afterward, students can customize their own blasters and design parts using CAD software.The club blends STEM learning with real engineering&mdash;covering energy transfer, circuitry, and rapid prototyping while building problem-solving and design-thinking skills.We will have Nerf scrimmages in a safe, structured environment. Safety gear is provided, and all participants must follow rules to remain in the club.Come ready to design, build, test, and battle&mdash;engineer your own ultimate blaster and discover the science behind the fun!
