✂️ Rework Your Clothing &mdash; The Homegrown Project SD Edition Hosted by Chris Carson / The Homegrown Project SD Sunday, August 9th | 2:00pm &ndash; 4:30pm Bring a piece of clothing you already own and leave with something completely transformed. In this hands-on workshop, Chris Carson will guide you through a range of reworking techniques that will breathe new life into your wardrobe &mdash; no sewing experience required. This is slow fashion in action. Instead of buying something new, we&#39;re making what you already have feel brand new. What you&#39;ll learn: &mdash; Patching &mdash; add character and cover wear with fabric patches &mdash; Hand embroidery &mdash; stitch details, patterns, or lettering by hand &mdash; Appliqu&eacute; &amp; Reverse Appliqu&eacute; &mdash; layer and cut fabric for bold visual effects &mdash; Cropping &mdash; give your piece a fresh silhouette &mdash; Adding studs &mdash; hardware details that elevate any garment &mdash; Tie-Dye &mdash; end the workshop with a splash of color ✨ How the workshop flows: All sewing and hand techniques will be completed first. Tie-dye is saved for the very end of the session &mdash; since tie-dyed garments need 24 hours to dry before being washed, you&#39;ll take your piece home wet to finish the process.
