The Clay County African American Legacy, Inc. invites you to an unforgettable evening of music, food and philanthropy benefiting the historic Garrison School Cultural Center Museum. Located in Liberty, Missouri, the Garrison School Cultural Center Museum preserves and interprets the rich history and contributions of African Americans in Clay County. As the country&#39;s last remaining historical African American School building, Garrison serves as an educational and cultural resource.for thousands of students, educators, families and visitors every year. This Benefit features Jeff Black, Grammy nominated singer-songwriter&nbsp;who&#39;s songs appear on recordings by Alison Krauss, Waylon Jennings, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, John Oates, Dierks Bentley, Blackhawk, Jo-el Sonnier and more. The Liberty raised, master songwriter&#39;s passionate, soul-driven, storytelling live performance is not to be missed! Your support will directly benefit museum operations, educational programming, historic preservation, and future exhibits that ensure these important stories continue to inspire generations to come.
