Port Antonio&#39;s Fisherman&#39;s Beach is about to be hit by surprise storm Hurricane Melissa which is already Cat 4. The fishing community there provides food for Portland Parish including Port Antonio, and are on the beach ESPECIALLY EXPOSED to 6 to 12 feet of hurricane surge over what is normally a protective reef, and very strong winds. Even worse, they are in the shadow of the Blue Mountains which will send huge flooding down to the city. Residents of Fisherman&#39;s Beach are in shanty town conditions. Coastal Aid Group&#39;s Coordinator is Community Leader Marlese Asante, who lives in Fisherman&#39;s Beach and will be coordinating purchase of aid supplies and rebuild for the locals, she is well-known to authorities and people all over Port Antonio and has the connections to make a difference. 🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 HUMANITARIAN AID TO ISLAND AND COASTAL COMMUNITIES We just accepted this Pearson 424 Ketch donated boat in PANAMA and have 2 tons of medical aid, seeds and fishing gear READY TO SAIL THIS MONTH to Ile a Vache, an island of 17,000 people to the south of Haiti. Captain Ray Thackeray previously operated International Rescue Group and we had transported 13 tons of aid supplies to Panama, bound for Haiti. We have a new active Board of Directors and are building a new plan with Coastal Aid Group and new boats to transport these supplies the only possible way in today&#39;s political environment in Haitji- by sea directly to the targeted community.
