Support Strength Over Suicide
Strength Over Suicide is about more than one day of competition. It’s about bringing people together around physical strength, mental health, suicide prevention, and connection.Through strength, education, community resources, and conversation, Strength Over Suicide creates opportunities to raise awareness, reduce stigma, connect people with support, and remind people that no one has to face difficult times alone.Your donation helps us make this work possible - supporting the Strength Over Suicide event, mental health and suicide prevention education and resources, community outreach, and the organizations working alongside us.Proceeds from Strength Over Suicide benefit Six Feet Over and Community Muscle Group (CMG), the 501(c)(3) nonprofit behind Strength Over Suicide and other programs designed to build stronger, healthier, more connected communities.Whether you give $10, $50, $100, or more, your support helps us continue building Strong Bodies • Strong Minds • Strong Communities.Thank you for being part of Strength Over Suicide.

Building strong bodies, resilient minds, and connected communities.Community Muscle Group (CMG) is a Michigan-based nonprofit that creates opportunities for people to build physical strength, confidence, resilience, and meaningful connection. We develop strength-based programs and bring together fitness professionals, educators, clinicians, community organizations, and other partners to make those opportunities more accessible. Our work currently centers around three areas:Strength for Life — connecting mental health, movement, and community through initiatives including Strength Over Suicide, community lift events, resource partnerships, and awareness efforts.Next Generation Strength — helping young people develop strength, confidence, connection, and leadership through programs such as DMG StrongKids and youth strength-sport opportunities. The Platform Project — expanding opportunities for women in strength sports while building leadership, connection, and community through events including the Detroit Women’s ProAm Powerlifting Meet and women’s strength programming.Your support helps CMG create and expand these programs, reduce barriers to participation, build community partnerships, and develop new opportunities for people of different ages and backgrounds to experience the physical, mental, and social benefits of strength.Every contribution helps us build stronger people and stronger communities.
