OverviewThe Meetup &amp; Getdown is a big party for our new civic future. This isn&rsquo;t a conference; it&rsquo;s a real-life party where we&#39;ll experience how the principles in <a fr-original-style="" href="http://newcivicfuture.org/letter" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">the &ldquo;Invitation to a New Civic Future&rdquo; letter</a> are practiced in our communities. How We&#39;ll Get DownWednesday Evening: Connect with your fellow party people at our welcome happy hour before seeing our new civic future come to life at <a fr-original-style="" href="https://warmcookiesoftherevolution.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Warm Cookies of the Revolution</a>&#39;s <a fr-original-style="" href="https://warmcookiesoftherevolution.org/event/tax-day-carnival-41526/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Tax Day Carnival</a>. Thursday Morning: Experience our new civic future first-hand by participating in interactive sessions led by fellow civic practitioners, and, possibly, learn a thing or two to bring back to your community. Thursday Afternoon: Propose emergent conversations to go deeper with fellow party people on the topics, tactics, and practices that are most alive for you related to our new civic future. Thursday Evening: Join our closing happy hour and call-to-action before heading off to dinner around town to continue your emergent conversations from the afternoon or join new ones.&nbsp; The Tax Day Carnival will take place at&nbsp;<a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.d3arts.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">D3 Arts</a>, and our Thursday sessions will be held at the&nbsp;<a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.historycolorado.org/history-colorado-center" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">History Colorado Center</a>&nbsp;and throughout Downtown Denver. Scholarship FundingWe are excited to offer scholarship funding for registered participants to help offset the costs of travel and lodging. Because we have limited funds, we kindly ask that you only apply for scholarship support if you need it.
