Through coaching fundamentals, developmental instruction, and national-level competition, we inspire young athletes to embrace active lifestyles, build resilience, and realize their full potential both on and off the court.</li></ul>

The Dallas Junior Wheelchair Mavericks transforms lives by providing North Texas children with physical disabilities access to wheelchair basketball and the life-changing benefits of team sports.Through coaching, developmental instruction, and national-level competition, our athletes build confidence, resilience, independence, leadership, and lifelong friendships&mdash;both on and off the court.DJWM is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Throughout the season, community support helps provide practice facilities, adaptive equipment, uniforms, tournament registrations, travel assistance, scholarships, team celebrations, and the Big Tex Classic&mdash;our annual home tournament that welcomes teams from across the nation.ASSIST is our annual family participation and giving campaign. Every DJWM family is sharing our story and inviting friends, relatives, coworkers, and community members to help create opportunities for our athletes.Your gift helps ensure that every eligible athlete has the opportunity to compete, grow, and belong.Every contribution matters. Every family has a role. Every assist creates opportunity.
