We are honored to be reaching out to you in support of Dandelion Arts Collective's mission. We are a Colorado arts-in-health nonprofit dedicated to advancing health equity through performing arts education and practices.Areas of focus include: 🌱SEEDLING: Supporting Early Childhood Development🌻BLOOM: Creative Expression for Youth Mental Health🌱PROPOGATE: Performing Arts and Disability🐝NURTURE: Health & Sexuality Education🌲ROOTS: Arts and Environmental StewardshipOur performing arts education programs include theatre, creative movement, improvisation, music, somatic and mindfulness facilitation, original devised work, role-play, observation, critical response, storytelling, visual art activities, health education, and more! Through the unique improvisational nature of our practices, we can be presented with emergent themes and tailor our pedagogy to the needs of the participants. We partner libraries, schools, social service organizations, community groups, disability centers and more to create originally 100% mobile programming. A tax-deductible donation will directly provide:Over 600 annual programs that support the social, emotional, and physical well-being of communities impacted by structural inequitiesPublic health and arts programs focused on early childhood development, youth mental health, and environmental stewardshipInclusive, holistic, shame-free health and sexuality education for individuals of all agesYear round theatre, music, and movement programs for disabled youth and adultsSupport and expansion of our team of qualified and caring arts & health practitionersIn addition to the direct health benefits of arts participation, our organization utilizes the arts to advance health data, improve public health awareness and education, and foster structural and sociocultural changes to increase health.Your donation fuels arts and health programs across Colorado that are grounded in equity, joy, and collaboration.
