Excitement is in the air! &nbsp; Join us for an unforgettable 4 day celebration beginning on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM, as we gather for a one-of-a-kind celebration! This special event will reunite surf pioneers and local legends to honor Del Mar&rsquo;s rich and enduring place in surf history. It&rsquo;s more than a reunion&mdash;it&rsquo;s a living tribute to the culture, community, and coastal legacy that helped shape California surfing. Every registration directly supports the mission of the Del Mar Historical Society and helps preserve the vital role Del Mar has played in California&rsquo;s history for generations to come. Calendar of events include:Thursday, October 8th - Opening Night Surfer&#39;s Reunion at the Plazawhich will include an Art Walk showcasing local artists, and music by Peter Sprague.Thursday, October 8th - St. Peter&#39;s Church Climate Symposium hosted by the UCSD and Scripps InstituteFriday, October 9th - Mini Film Festival at St. Peter&#39;s Church, featuring new and classic surf documentaries&nbsp;Saturday, October 10th - 2-5pm Music with the fabulous Mar Del&#39;s at the Powerhouse Park followed by&nbsp;Movie Night beginning at 7pm featuring The Endless Summer, and a Woody Parade at the Del Mar Train StationSaturday, October 10th: A Book Fair at L&#39;Auberge HotelSunday, October 11th - Book Fair and Student Art Walk at L&#39;AubergeSunday, October 11th&nbsp;- Women and Waves - A celebration of women surfers, scientists, artists and authors - St. Peter&#39;s Church Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled, meaningful afternoon by the sea&mdash;filled with stories, connection, and community spirit.
