DePauw National Pan Hellenic Council

The DePauw National Pan Hellenic Council fosters unity and collaboration among historically Black fraternities and sororities, promoting cultural awareness, community service, and leadership development at DePauw University.

Join us for an unforgettable night of rhythm, precision, and creativity as teams bring childhood nostalgia to life through powerful stepping, themed skits, and iconic throwback inspirations&mdash;from classic TV shows to memorable moments that shaped us. Held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 7:30 PM&ndash;11:00 PM in the Green Center for the Performing Arts (GCPA), Kresge Auditorium, this event also gives back: a portion of ticket proceeds will support a charitable organization selected by the top ticket-selling team. Come experience the culture, the competition, and the community&mdash;all in one electrifying night! 🎶👣

DePauw NPHC x MGC Step Show

DePauw NPHC Kenya Community Support Initiative During a visit to Kenya, several DePauw University students had the opportunity to experience the country, connect with local communities, and see firsthand some of the challenges facing a local school and its students. What began as a meaningful trip became a call to action. After returning to DePauw, we knew that our experience could not simply remain a memory. As members of the DePauw University National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), we began developing a long-term service initiative focused on supporting needs identified within the Kenyan school community. Our goal is to raise funds and build partnerships to support several priority areas, including access to clean and reliable water, improved school security and fencing, educational supplies, and lighting resources for students in areas with limited access to electricity. Funds raised through this campaign will help support needs such as:<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A water storage system to improve access to water</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Stronger fencing and other infrastructure needs</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">School and educational supplies for approximately 200 students</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Battery-powered lamps and flashlights to support students without reliable electricity</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Transportation, purchasing, shipping, and other approved costs associated with completing the project</li></ul>This initiative is being organized through dedicated Fundraising, Outreach, Marketing, and Proposal Committeesmade up of DePauw NPHC members and student leaders. Together, we are researching suppliers, developing partnerships, fundraising, and working toward a responsible plan for delivering resources where they are needed.Our goal extends beyond simply raising money. We hope to create a sustainable partnership that connects our campus community with a community that had a lasting impact on us. Every contribution brings us closer to turning what we witnessed firsthand into meaningful action.
