Derby City CARES empowers youth through mentorship and community support, fostering emotional wellness and resilience. Their programs connect students with caring adults, helping them thrive academically and personally in a safe, nurturing environment.

The Derby City CARES Mentoring Movement Back 2 School Celebration is an evening of fun, mentorship, and empowerment designed to help middle and high school students begin the school year with confidence and support. Hosted in partnership with Cosmic Golf, the event combines interactive golf, food, and meaningful programming through the National CARES A New Way Forward curriculum and Wellness Mentoring Circles. Youth will connect with caring adult mentors, participate in conversations that promote emotional wellness and resilience, and build positive relationships in a safe, encouraging environment. Community sponsors make this experience possible by sponsoring golf bays, with each sponsorship providing at least four young people the opportunity to participate at no cost to their families.Your sponsorship is more than funding an event. It is an investment in the next generation, helping youth discover hope, healing, and the support they need to thrive both in school and in life.
