Help us build the foundation for the Des Moines Historical Society’s future! We’re raising $5,000 through the sponsorship of shells and stones designed by children who visit the museum. These special pieces represent a vision for what lies ahead: a future museum home for the Historical Society with a Native Plant Garden where children’s creativity, local history, and the natural world come together. While the garden is still a dream for the future, your sponsorship helps us build the capacity we need today to make that dream possible tomorrow. Funds raised will support the ongoing work of strengthening the Historical Society, growing our programs and community connections, and preparing for a future permanent home.$100 — Garden Friend$250 — Garden Artist$500 — Garden Legacy SponsorYour shell or stone may be small, but it represents something much bigger: a community investing in the future of its history. You will receive a photo of your sponsored stone or shell as well as brief information about the child who designed it! Help us start building our future today.
